Reminder - in person Forum Thursday 18th May
Yes, the next Developer Forum is THIS WEEK!!!
As we said before, this one is in person. We will be inviting you into committee rooms 1 & 2 in the Council Offices on New Road. As you probably haven't visited us in the last ... three years ... you'll notice our entrance is now on the west side of the building. So from the train station, walk south (over the level crossing, if you've come from London) and you'll see us a few doors down on your left.
Topics will include a Local Plan update (Including the site selection process), Biodiversity Net Gain and a discussion on social value in planning. Time will be allowed to network and speak with officers leading on the Plan.
Please be here for a 1:30 start. We will wrap up by 5.
We look forward to seeing you!

AAACK! Corrections!
The link below is for February, not November!! I have no explanation for how I managed to put November (I know that was the last forum but that's not an excuse).
I would also like to amend the time for May, this in-person event will be 1:30-5pm.

Updated slide from Nov-22 Forum
Human error, huh? South Ockendon was left off of the spatial options slide so here are those two slides again. Tweak to West Horndon as well.

Sincere apologies for any confusion.

Thurrock Viability Consultation
Local Plan Viability Update
Following the presentation of the draft report at the Developer’s Forum on Tuesday we are pleased to circulate a copy of the early pre-consultation draft and a questionnaire. This is an early working draft setting out the proposed methodology, modelling and assumptions (and does not include results). It is inevitable that some of these will change as a result of the consultation.
We would be grateful if you could review the draft. We have provided a questionnaire; however please be free not to use it. When responding please do not simply say an assumption is too high or too low, please provide evidence to support your comments. We are happy to anonymise any particular comments that may be market sensitive (for example around land values or sale revenue).
Can you please respond by Midday on Tuesday 20th December 2022. This will enable the report to be completed over the Christmas / New Year period and the findings presented early in the new year. Responses should be made to localplan@thurrock.gov.uk. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions.
You can read the report here: https://consult.thurrock.gov.uk/17226/widgets/49291/documents/35126
The appendices are here: https://consult.thurrock.gov.uk/17226/widgets/49291/documents/35127
And you can complete the questionnaire either by using this online form - https://forms.office.com/e/HDEPvJpteq - or by downloading and returning this Word version - https://consult.thurrock.gov.uk/17226/widgets/49291/documents/35125
